Week 7 - Last week, we were able to showcase Symphony at Vail Pride Day! Thank you all for working so hard to get this accomplishment achieved! There is some final testing with the climber and baton systems and then she will be competition ready. There is less than two weeks until our first competition arises. 11 February 2024
Week 6 - Huge progress was made with Symphony. Most of the loader, shooter, and climb assemblies have been built and majority of the robot has been wired up.This week is the last week before Vail Pride Day (Saturday 2/17) which is when we expect to reveal Symphony. We are so close to completion and will let you all know on our progress. 3 February 2024
Week 5 - We made great progress with Symphony (this year's robot) which is having the shooter and camera set up soon. 28 January 2024
Week 4 - The design on this year's robot is making more progress. We are starting production on the actual robot instead of the prototype. We are almost halfway through build season (5 more weeks until competition for us starts)! 22 January 2024
Week 3 - We made progress with this year's robot design. We were able to build some game targets/obstacles that are going to be in the game this season and use the shooter prototype to better test it. 14 January 2024
Week 2 - We made good progress! We got the basic drive train and the shooter prototype built and tested. 7 January 2024
Happy start of 2024 everyone! As many know, build season has officially started in January 6th, 2024. Week 1 - We will be planning what this year's robot will include in terms of hardware, design, and capabilities. Don't forget to read the game manual that talks about this year's game in specifics (game manual link: https://www.firstinspires.org/resource-library/frc/competition-manual-qa-system). Let's start off strong for build season this week, and make this a great season! |
